Eversley Village Hall’s Community Event ‘Deck the Hall’ Christmas Party was held on Saturday 17th December and we were overwhelmed with how many people turned up to support the Village Hall. The event was opened by some of the pupils from Academie De Dance with some wonderful Star Wars themed dancing. With special guest appearances from My Stormtrooper, The Grinch, Father Christmas, St Mary’s Church Choir, we were also treated to some tunes from John James Newman.
We had crafts and games for the Children and lots of hot food, cakes and savouries with mulled wine and cider – all of which went down a treat.
Some of the messages we received from residents included:
“The whole event was a resounding success – a great job done by all and just what our Village Hall was built for. Mrs Humphries-Owen would have been proud.”
“Just wanted to say thanks for organising today. It was lovely to see so many people gathered together.”
A big thank you to everyone who helped, donating gifts, food and drinks, as well as those who gave their time on the day. We’re extremely grateful to all the local companies that got involved and everyone who came along and made the event a great success. Happy New Year to you all!
