Eversley Village Hall is the ideal venue to hold most events and is situated centrally in the village near Charles Kingsley's School. The land was given to the village by Commander Manders. The hall was built in 1959 due to the generosity of Mrs Humphries-Owen for the sole purpose of providing a hall for recreational use. The hall is currently used for a wide variety of functions and activities such as private parties, wedding receptions, children's parties, ballet classes, theatre, dances, quiz nights, a play group, parish council meetings and village museum displays.
The hall hosts a main hall with a stage, an annex, a recently refurbished kitchen, disabled facilities and ample car parking. It has
an efficient heating system which is supplied by gas warm air.
Tables, chairs and a selection of china, cutlery and glass are also available for your use.
The hall is licensed to hold up to 150 people standing and can comfortably accommodate 120 seated.
Eversley Village Hall is a building but smoking is allowed outside. Use of eCigarattes is permitted.
If you use the hall or want to show support for the facilities the hall provides then please visit (and join) us at Friends of Eversley Village Hall on Facebook

13th November 2013: Pleased to report that following the AGM the Village Hall has a new Committee (including a new Chairman and Treasurer). We are determined to
continue the tremendous achievements of the outgoing committee and to bring the Village Hall back as 'the heart of the community' which was
the original intention when it was first opened over 50 years ago - watch this space!.
Special mention must be made of the amazing contribution of the outgoing Chairperson, Caroline Sellick, who has worked tirelessly since 2004 not only keeping the Hall functioning on a day to day basis but also organizing many memorable and enjoyable events. Caroline will be a hard act to follow!
28th February 2014: Some Village Hall signage has been installed at the junction of the B3272 and Glaston Hill Road. It is double sided and is fitted under the Charles Kingsley's School sign. We did ask for another sign, once again fitted under the Charles Kingsley's School sign which is further down the B3272 in the direction of the roundabout. This will be single sided and only visible to people travelling from the roundabout into Eversley Centre.
13th March 2014: Eversley Village Hall Management Committee is pleased to announce that
following the acquisition of the whole area of the hall's front car park, they have subsequently raised the necessary
funds to improve the car park at the front of the village hall.
The work will be to install an asphalt surface which will be properly drained, some low level lighting and bollards to prevent sprawl onto the existing grass areas.
The work is planned to be done during the Easter school holidays to prevent problems for Charles Kingsley's School drop off and pick up. It is planned to be started on the 7th April and will take about 5 days to complete.
If there are any changes or delays to the project we will issue update notices here on the Village Hall web site which will also contain information on further longer term improvements to the hall.
The car park work is the first step in improving the whole of the front entrance, toilets and hallway. This will be funded by applying for grants from the Big Lottery, local government and the Landfill Tax.
There is also an intention to install a sound/entertainment infrastructure which will include a PA system and audio loop.
These plans are embryonic at the moment and are supported by the results of a recent survey.
25th March 2014: The hall gets a new phone number for incoming calls only: 0118 380 0512
March - May 2014: carpark resurfacing
16th May 2014: We have a new Friends of Eversley Village Hall on Facebook - please follow us.
19th May 2014: Social Club for Eversley?
The recent Village Hall Survey revealed an appetite for a Social Club to take place in the Village during the afternoons.
Various suggestions for activities were suggested from simple tea and chat sessions to friendly card / board games, bingo, crafts, whist / beetle drives and a tea dance, amongst others.
The Village Hall could be made available for any of these activities, on a regular weekly basis, on Wednesday afternoons, but, these could only happen if there is sufficient interest both from villagers wanting to take part and, particularly, from volunteers to help to run them.
If you feel that you could help in any way, from organizing activities to brewing the tea, please let the Village Hall Committee know by phoning: 0118 380 0512 or email from our contacts page.
January 2015: Short film made in the hall by Masquerade Picture Company
April 2015: Coffee afternoons at the village hall. Starting 3rd of June every Wednesday between 2pm and 3.45 coffee and cakes will be available at the village hall. Stop by for a chat and meet friends old and new. These meetings are now cancelled.
24th February 2016: EGM at the village hall. We now have a new committee.
